Hi everyone
Does anybody know when they started stamping dates of manufacturing on wheels ( both Lemmerz/Kronprinz)?? A friend of mine said it was in 1950... I really need this information because I'm restoring a 1949 and I didn't find date on one of my wheel ...
Thanks
Jacques

The wheels on my 1950 are date stamped.
I cannot find any evidence of a date stamp on the wheels of my 1947.
Not 100% confirmation, but hope it helps.

I have Lemmertz wheels dated 49 and have KPZ wheels dated 49
I have non for sale, sorry
The date is in the rim but you have to take the tire of the rim. It is stamped in the bed. not on the outside conter like lemmerz did.
Normaly it shows: (month in digits ) / 49 KRONPRINZ 3 x 16 DIN
