Not sure yet.

It was offered to me as is or just bits of it... I couldn't see it broken up..

So had to bring it home.. Its safe and dry, I want to finish bare metalling it and then stick in primer till I find some time to to do something good with it...

I've got more than one little project on the go.. so its on a back burner..

As far as I can tell, it was on the road in the uk from 88 to 92 so any pics from around then would be great...

I'd love some more history of it.. especially the roof damage? And the repairs!

Spent another few hours this afternoon removed huge amounts of filler and layers of paint.. dust everywhere ... I came in like the green man....the strange thing is that it looks better under the filler than you would expect.. most of the car seems to be the right shape.. but covered in a skim of filler..

I've been slowly trying to finish the bare metaling...

The wire wheel on the grinder is very noisy... but does a good job so I'm using it when i can bare it and when the neighbours are out!

The flap wheel is too abrasive and marks the metal so I'm using this to trim off the first few layers and then using the DA to finish the job...

Roof nearly done..

All I'm trying to do is finish the bare metal and then prime it so it doesnt get any worse... I havent got tyhe time or money to do anything else with it at the moment...

Looking at the old Reg doc from 1982 it appears to have been first reg 16/2/1954

and as far as i can work out from the Chassis number it was built very Late jan '54

I've just realised the reg doc is german with german addresses on it..

So why am I told the car is swedish?

Actually, thinking about it I think one of the windows has a swedish tax from the 70's on it...

I think It has been around a bit!

Hi Julian,

I know this is an old post put trying to track down what happened to my old 54 and it appears that you had it.

Here is what it looked like before the accident over 30 years ago

Hi steve.. I assume that you got all my pictures and messages sent via James Peen the other day?
The car is safe and built and in use again.
