greetings from california!
my husband and i are going to be shipping our restored 67 westy for the bad camberg show. is there a schedule available to view? i understand that hotels are going to be hard to find, we will probably crash in the bus. seeing some of the posts it seems like that would be a good idea. does it happen often that buses are disturbed?
i grew up in hanau and can't wait to visit again, my husband has never been and i'm sure he is getting sick of me telling him all the cool things i did while growing up.
look forward to hearing any info on the show.

Great to hear you're shipping your bus all the way from CA- why don't you take a month or two & drive it to the East coast of the US, ship it to Europe & drive fom there to Camberg?!! A great adventure!! ;-)

Oooh. Rather belatedly spotted this thread and seriously considering taking my 53' for it's first overseas spin for 6 years. Have never been to BC before, so it'd be great to go

As I suspect most of the guest houses will be full, does anyone know whether you can camp?

Because the weather was nice yesterday and because I was bored doing nothing I decided to go to Bad Camberg to check out once more the hotel we are staying in during B.C. 2011!
All I can tell you is that all the rooms I asked are registrated on my name now!:shock:
Nearly cant wait till 2011!
Maybe I am getting more bored till than so I go back there to try out the different styles of steak they serve there!!!
And specially for J & D good news: the hotel is also serving vegetarian food!

I stayed in that hotel during B.C.1983, 1987, 1991, 1995 and 2003!:shock:
After being in other hotels during B.C. 1999, 2007 I deceided to go back to my first choice!!!:wink:
When I look these dates I realise I'm getting old!!!:oops:

ps2: In the hotel are stil rooms available so when you need a room tell me!
