Can anyone help.I have a problem with the 6V ignition system. I have a constant light on when I put a tester between the coil & engine. The screw which holds the condensor has two insulator washers would I have a problem if the screw is touching the side of the distributor. I have ordered a new condensor & points. How can I check the 6v Coil can I do an ohms test across the terminals, if so what type of reading would I get

Guys, I have sorted out the problem with the engine ignition. New condenser & points & started first time. I have now also completed the installation of a judson & magneto. All working fine. I Will need to take the car out for a proper run, as I have fitted a new rotor/vanes. Hopefully will now be ready for the volksworld show
