hi everyone. Am pilling my 36hp apart for the first time and would like to know how do you undo the the two closely spaced head bolts right behind the inlet port! Do you have to remove the studs which hold the inlet manifold onto the head, is there a special tool/ or do you machine a 15mm socket down to a certain size? Hope you can help.

Just remove the studs that hold the inlet manifold on, and then you can get a standard socket on the head nuts.

You need a thin-walled 15mm socket. A lot of sockets are too fat. Draper do the right one that fits.
