Hi just wondered where is the best place to buy a rear window seal for a 65. , tried heritage and they can not give me a date as they do not have them in stock . I've nearly finished the car and just need a new seal . Any help to point me in the right direction appreciated. Stu

You could try Karmann Konnection, although I don't know how many cabriolet parts they carry.

https://www.bbt4vw.com/en/

https://www.chucksconvertibleparts.com/

Either of those two would probably be able to help you.

Cheers,

It looks like Vewib in Germany make the seal, so you might try their UK distributors?

Hi Stu,

The VeWib seals are superb quality and as good as genuine VW.

Maybe also Himmelservice, again in Germany?:-

I got my carpet from Newton Commercial, seems pretty good quality even though I didn't go for the expensive one.

If you're prepared to wait a little, try Wolfsburg West in California.

I've got a set of their carpets for my Oval, and I'm really pleased with them. I also bought the entire rest of the interior for the car from them, and found them to to be very helpful and quite prompt in getting the stuff over to Scotland.

Karmann Konnection might still be an agent for them here in the UK, so it might be worth your while making some enquiries there.
