New to this forum.

trying to identify what VW my wheels are for.
I bought a old German army trailer (believe army as has towing claw on rear for towing another trailer)
the trailer is fitted with 5x205 wheels which are running 205/80R16 tyres.
The wheels are riveted on the back and have the markings S342 and 3.00.0x16 on the rim.
I'm trying to identify as ive now put 14" rims on the trailer as i wanted a spare wheel but couldn't find 16".
so I'm now after selling those wheels to pay for the other wheels i've bought.
any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like they're 16" wheels the same as on an early split beetle, although as they'll be date stamped much later they tend to be worth a lot less.

I picked up a pair from a trailer a little while back for £30, which i think was a little on the cheap side - but I'm still looking for a spare :wink:

i need 6 wheels, one spare for the 52 standard and a full set for the the deluxe crotchcooler. 2 would be a great start for the the deluxe.
