If you're into custom cars at all then you'll know the name George Barris, if you're not into custom cars then you've probably seen one of his creations without knowing. George was also a keen photographer, and in 1951 he went with his mother on a European trip.
One of the places he visited was the Dannenhauer Stauss shop.
