I guess he made this what it is, because he didn't have a VW38 to measure and make an exact replica of. He probably isn't into the 38, and might not even have heard of it. It's pretty bloody impressive, you have to admit, and hey at least he didn't do a 1998 Vauxhall Nova :lol:
The guy's obviously pretty good at what he does, built it as a hobby on the side, and maybe as an advert for his business.
