My June 1965 RHD (Type 114) Pearl White (L87) Beetle has the original mesh-red leatherette seats and interior fittings specified as "combination 87" in VWs original colour combination tables. However, my carpets aren't original and I want to replace them as close as I can to the original colour and weave. Colour charts on TheSamba do not show carpet colour - they do give the colour of the over the tunnel mats but not the carpet. The easiest way to get a definitive answer is if anyone out there has a 1965 model in pearl white with mesh-red seats and original carpets??

The carpet was "Tin Grey", carpet colour code T307, which is same as for my 1965 Fontana Grey beetle. The carpet colour seems to be No Longer Available.
