I was going to be all clever and say its a Steyr-Puch or a Panhard motor. But it isn't either of those. 😞

Hey Guido? How is your eye....Did Et got to it to punch you?

I found that pict  to and I have no clue..
The explenation is a bit odd to me...
It seems clearly as a 2 cilinder engine, The carb, fuel pump and distributor seems to be like Beetle engines...
The valve cover closing system too but to be honest, I have no clue. :?
Did you get my mails and $$?

No black eyes, ET is not that evil, I'm still his best friend

I sended that person a mail , he is telling me all his pictures are original from the VW Factory ! the position from the carburator???
A few years ago I was reading something about a 2 cylinder VW engine, I must have that book here somewhere !

The original picts from the "werbung abteilung " are in the back always showing a nr in pencil writing...
A certain person from germany confirmed this type of writing in the back as Original.

I have a original from the Vorfuhrwagen Type 14A.
According to the fuel pump it should be somewhere mid 60's engine..
I have to get my books from the attic. "Der kafer " serie 1,2,3 and 4.

Today I have received my copy from Die edel kafer...WOW  and amazing info on Rometsch, beutler, Dannenhauer and Staus, Karmann and Hebmuller. Altough most of it is ....rouuuuuu.
