Wow thats great looking split.
It looks like its got a few later bits fitted but I agree with the offset vw logo on the dash making it earlier.

Yeah it's a 1946.
I've seen the car at the Super VW Nationals in france.
I have correct semaphores for it.:d

Sorry yes, a 46, I was in France this last week and saw it again featured in the latest issue of Super VW.
