I've had some hand fabricated panels fitted to replace the rotten ones on the door bottoms of my 54 beetle. Does anyone have any pictures or can explain where the drain holes are positioned on their undersides?

on my 53 ive got 2 small ones on each end and one big one in the midle,could try to get some measurements it that would help

The door is a split door from 1951,
but I think the holes are also correct for a oval !!

Sorry to bump this back up. Could someone post up a picture of the inside of the door bottom if poss please (taken from top looking down would be perfect). I can't see how any rain water would drip from this inner section into the very bottom part of the door (where the seal sits, as in pic above). Got a feeling my doors have not been welded up correctly. Thanks in advance.
