UPDATE.

I,ve been offered some heads over the weekend.

Part Number 111 101 371A

Now,a very knowlegable person,that comes on here(you know who you are:))
has said I need 111 101 351A for 1957.

Anyone else know this to be fact?

I,m going to get a matching pair of heads,with a bit of luck,I REALLY need to know that both or one of those part numbers correspond to an 1192cc 30hp European Beetle.

I,m telephoning the guy in the morning,so if anyone can comment with authority,I,ll be most greatful.

Well,the confusion over part numbers is solved,I am now the proud owner of 2 recon cylinder heads and all for the princely sum of £100.

They have new valves and guides and seats.

Absolutely fantastic.
Now I know why VW folk are the best in the world.
