Did they use one on the early Karmann or Heb's?
Or was there something available as an accessoirie?

Hi Pascal,
the early 50´s Karmann had no front hood lock. Volkswagen asked Karmann during 1950 for this lock and Karmann

I have never seen an accessorie lock. For the Hebmuller front hood lock...ask Peter Schepens :wink:
