Was it this one?

https://www.autoscout24.de/

There's another German one I used to look at but I can't remember the name of it at the moment. I'll post it up if it comes back to me :d

LHD would only be cheaper in the UK!

These cars are generally not cheap in Germany, but they can be really nice cars - never seen the traditional UK style restoration of both pans, both channels and the lower six inches of the whole car replaced. Very often they´ve only had the odd corner welded. There are still original paint cars around too.

You could search on Bugnet.de too.

What about this one on mobile.de? It looks like a very nice resto, Standard model too! Don't forget, the exchange rate isn't too great at the moment, so that'll make European cars appear to be more expensive for us 😞

A VERY long URL there, but it'll take you straight to it...

Dave

Just noticed- it's got later Oval rear lights on it... 😞

That car in the link is pretty clean. Hardly welded, original paint in the interior, original upholstery and been off the raod since 1988. Which is actually a good thing for a UK buyer as you can just get five day plates and drive home - it means a lower buy in price in other words, as it has no current TÜV.

Pay me enough money and I´ll consider going and getting it for you.

Too late, JD! It's gone from the site, I guess it's been sold. From what you were saying, it sounds like a very nice car.
