Can somebody (urgently) tell me if the door hinge pins of a 1953 Cabrio are different than those of a 1953 sedan?

My vote would be for no, they're the same - there's no reason for them to be different...?

I'm sure the pins are the same as a 54/55 cabrio ET, which of course are different to a sedan in that they are hollow with a grease nipple on the top.

ET, see here:-

The cabrio ones have a slot in them to take grease. Sedan ones don't (as far as I know). So to answer your question- they are different.

As per that Ad, from Ricardo at Splitpartsunlimited.

I'm sure you know this but if fitting a hinge mirror then the standard pin for a mirror is used.
