But as JD has said, all of the real work was done by Steve Hook who owns Hookys Panels. The guy is not only a genius when it comes to welding and fabrication, but his knowledge of vintage VWs is extrodanary, and is worth it's weight in gold when it comes to restoring old cars.

I'm due to pick it up on Saturday and bring it home, so will get some pictures posted up and start to update this thread (That's when I'm not out on my bike :d )
