We currently have a '59 convertible beetle in the workshop, which was originally made for the US market, it had long since been converted to RHD & our customer is looking to put it back to stock ride height & fully Euro spec it by having us install semaphores .
Can anyone tell me are saloon & convertible semaphores different in size ?
& can anyone give me the accurate position they should be mounted please ?
Heres is how the bug looked just as we started the strip down & then a little further,
it has a hot engine, discs all around, lowered etc. The car could easily have been displayed at any show, but our customer has a very clear picture of what he wants, so it will be reupholstered, colour changed & new hood.
