For my 65 restoration project, I was determined to keep as close to stock as possible. Every original part that wasn't worn out was restored and every replacement part was chosen for quality and authenticity. I did make a few exceptions by installing disc brakes - safety first, restored the interior with Sewfine products, and I installed a modern vintage-look radio. When it came time to choose the color, I decided on L380 Turquoise because it was a 65 color that I liked but didn't often see at shows.
