Wouldn't this be a nice car for Hebster52 to buy.

Yes you own a genuine Hebmüller, so? I know a few other Heb owners too who are very down to earth and don't need to pick on others. They respect others cars and projects as they are.

My replica thingys are basically that I knew that never would afford an original Hebmüller and secondly didn't want to make a repro of the production versíon because that wouldn't have satisfied me just for the reason I knew it never would have been an original anyways. Therefore I desided to start on the Heb Proto number one replica to make it a bit different from other replicas... Still it is a Replica but I'm going to love it!

ET I love your Heb and what you are doing with it and look forward to see it finished soon. I just wanted to clear the things up and I sure dont want to argue about silly things so I hope you understand my view? :cry:

The reason to not be missunderstood that I'm trying to make a Hebmüller is why I chose to call mine Hebster. All it has common with the Hebmüller is the body shape... :twisted: I'm not even trying to make something it never can be....

The question might be? Does he (me) want to make repros of anything? No off course not... :shock:

What a nice friendly debate.

The further down the path I walk, the more wealthy people I meet who own more rare & special cars, and at the same time they do less and less or sometimes even zero work on their cars themselves.

Everyone loves genuine best, yes.
But then it is far easier to 'buy' and pay someone else to 'restore' than 'build/re-create' something that maybe no longer exists isnt it.

Hi Mrs Herbie here you are (nearly) at the end of the path and the person you meet here has NO mortgage is NOT rich, but YES he ownes a ORIGINAL (nearly) restored Hebmuller!!!

It is not always the quantity of money you have that counts!!!
When you are like me in VW for more than 20 years and out of these years already looking for 15 years to find a Hebmuller you must be lucky sometimes!!

And yes I was that lucky! About the Hebmuller I found :
he was waiting for a person like me!!!
