😞 My semaphores do not work consistently and do not always fully pop out. I have checked the battery, dynamo and fan belt and all are OK; could it be the regulator?? Anyone had similar experiences??
If I am driving at a decent pace without lights on, then there is enough ummph to power the electro magnets and fully extend the semophores no problem, if however I am driving slowly with the lights on just after starting the car then they just about make half way up. :cry: :cry:

Clare had the same problem on her 1960. The semaphores wouldn't go right up if you indicated at slow speed, at higher revs they were better.

She cleaned the semaphores with some carb cleaner, cleaned the connections, and they then worked fine. Don't get it on the paint though and make sure everything's dry before you wire them up and try them!
