Cannot believe it, i'm having a lot of trouble finding a tow bar for a 1961 bug, tried most of the usual places but no one can help.

Has anyone got any ideas where i will be able to find a good complete one?

Nigel used to have a neat tow bar on his '57 which bolted to the frame forks and ran under the engine. I think he sold it a while ago when he fitted the 2.1L with a deep sump and found that the tow bar wouldn't fit any more!

You do see old original tow bars like this for sale at shows from time to time.

If I find one I'll let you know.

Nice, both of us won't be in aircooled.

Not sure if i'm staying up there or driving up on the day. Not the sort of weather to camp and too tight to book into a hotel.

I have e mailed your mate, cheers for that.

I'm sure you know Nigel. He knows Paul and Scott quite well, he's got the coral red US '57 with SA Sprintstars.
He was going to race Scott at the pod when they both had 30 horse engines!
