Hi,
Could any body tell me where I would find the chassis number for a 1947 beetle stamped. I say this because I cant find stamped in the usual place where it should be (i.e on the trans tunnel just after the inspection cover). The only numbers I can find are:- 10.51.42m suis1 and the torsion tube is stamped 1947. Does anybody have any ideas please.
