Hello,

My karmann ghia has had a 12 volt conversion by previous owner, the wiper switch appears to be an early version with 54, 54b & 31b terminal id's. The wiper motor however has 31b,53a,53 & 53b which I think is 66 on. The wires to the switch are 54 = Black, 31b = brown and 54b = purple and black stripe as per diagram attached. I'm getting a blown fuse when the wiper is switched on. Anybody any idea where the wires should be connected on wiper motor?
