For sale...no price though.
Seems to have wrong steering wheel (from a deluxe) and chrome waistline.
Still, an uncommon nevertheless.

I had one of these post '62 1200 Belgium cars some years ago, Harvey Simpson brought it into the UK from Belgium.

The trim and steering wheel are correct I believe. Mine had a non-dished batwing from the Oval period from new, as many did. More quirks for the Belgium market.

Still, as you say its uncommon, and it does look rather nice

The trim is incorrect as the steeringwheel. I have an all original standard -63 and it does have the threespoke steeringwheel and no trim... 🙂

No. its wrong to say that these items are incorrect, or strictly correct.

Harvey Simpson has a 1964 ex-Belgium base model, all original. It like mine did, has a DeLuxe Oval batwing steering wheel, and exterior trim, the front seats are fixed down with wing nuts, just like the Standard model, but it has hydraulic brakes. Belgium base cars varied in these details.

I think the car shown here is correct, and it would be a mistake to change it.
