Tyres For 1965 "Wide 5"(Standard) Wheels · International Vintage Volkswagen Forums

Dear All,
The tyres on my 1965 beetle are just about shot. A recent visit to National Tyres left me somewhat confused about what to replace them with.
Can anyone recommend a tyre for a standard (VW made) "wide 5" wheel?

I recently bought a set of 4 Vredestein sprint classics 155 x 15 x 80 radial from Camskill.co.uk - just under £200 for all 4 = plus local fitting cost.- these went onto my 1958 Karmann Ghia - made a big difference to the handling . I would recommend them.
