70 years after it was build, the original KDF Berlim-Rome-Racing-Car Type 64 is able to visit by the public. It is a part of the airstream-exibition at the Prototyp-Museum in Hamburg. Next to the car, there are parking the the who is who of our most favorite cars like Tatra 87, Rometsch Goliath GP700 Coupé, Porsche RSK 60 or Mercedes SLR. The exibition will be open daily until march - before most of the cars are going back to the hidden, private and non-public collections.

The first one is a Veritas Avus Stromlinie.

The second one looks like a Dannenhauer Coupé, but less aerodynamical, which is strange...

The third one looks a little bit like an early Ascort.

And the last one raced in the late 40's and very early 50's as "VW Spezial". This car, like the 5 other sisters (all lightly different), were made by Peter-Max Muller.
More of the history in french HERE
Sorry that I didn't write it in French. But I can translate if you like...

Prototyp Hamburg has an incredible collection of coachbuilts, serial VWs, and rare Porsches, like early Pre-As, Carreras, and almost all the race prototypes: 904, 906, 907, 908, 910...

The blue car between the D&S cuope and the 4 carb motor has letters on the front.
Does not look like Ascort. More like Laditta Rabitta Raritta ???itta
