Me and Bengt H are about to reproduce a few inner handles for the top.

I have an original one as a master but we are a little unsure about the finish of the crome.

Are anybody of you sure about the finish? Shall the cromed handle be polished in high finish or was it only cromed over the rough casting.

Please let us know.

They were missing from Heb #601 and I was told that they are the same as early porsche hood handles, so they may be available from somewhere already!

Haven't found any though!

They where casted from brass and polished before they got chromed.
The ones I know have a high end chrome finish.
By the way ... I will need one if you really make some.
The one I have could be used as a master sample too.

Nice parts,
Any idea what the price is for a set?
Raw or chromed?
Thanks. Peter

No price yet, if we sell them raw or chromed depends a litle of if we can find a good chromshop.

Are there any interest in Karmann handles??

Nice job Bengt, they look good.

Not sure about the Karmann handles. The hood pull down handles were missing on my car but I got them (repro) from Chuck's so they are already available.

Karmann parts are much cheaper!
The price is low becouse there is a big market for them and I guess they used them till the mid sixties.

I have posted your photo on the 356 registry "356 talk" ... asking if these are the same as Pre A cabriolet...

I will advise and send your info to that group if you like?

I didn't want to give your contact info without permission...

Here are three pre A photos showing the handles... I can't be sure they are exactly the same... but they look pretty close.

There is already interest from one Pre A guy for some.

Can you guys provide the dimensions of the handle... width, length, and height?... I will forward to the 356talk list.

Thanks
