Nice work Nicolass. That sets a standard that I need to be aiming for when I do my chassis work.

Please keep posting details of what the car was like and the work that you have been doing. It is most interesting, and I will feel much more comfortable if I am not the only one in this section doing a blog on my car.

If you have time it would also be great if you could do an overview on the Enzmann. They seem to be a great looking and interesting car, but there is little on this forum about them.

Mark owner of 2 Australian Ascorts ask me to put more pictures and info on about the Enzmann .

This Enzmann we found in Belgium is made in 1957 the first owner mr Baquette order the body by Enzmann and has the car built in his garage on a 1957 beetle chassie
The complete history mail/letters with the first owner and Enzmann is with the car.
Mr Baquette made it special with Koni shocks, Maico brakes on the front and a Porsche 75 hp engine in the rear.
He dont like the rear end of the car and made it Italian look .So we found out there are 2 cars with this Italian rear end 1 in Sweden and 1 in Holland.
Red must be the color of this car and so it happen.
In the 70 the car was for sale the Enzmann moved to a collector and there we found it 2012
The Enzmann is 90% complete only there are some puzzle and missing parts.

The chassie was bent on the front and 1 rear axle.A new part is welded in the front .left floorpan was gone so a new one welded in the other floorpan i did repair. The gearbox is complete rebuilt with a new axle.
After i am finisht with the chassie the body is the next step.

It is good to see the photos. Keep them coming. Even if you do not get a lot of comments, I am sure that there will be a core group of people who will be watching your posts with interest.

Are the bits and pieces that are missing stock VW items, bits that are Enzmann specific or just accessories and specialised stuff? With my Ascort the parts that have cost me the most time to find and the most money have been those accessory items such as gauges, okrasa bits and pieces, steering lock etc.

Keep up the good work.
