There is a vintage hill climb event near where I live and its got me wondering whether I could build a Vintage Speed hill climber from my 65 beetle.

Ive started collecting parts for a engine rebuild including twin 28 pci's and Mann pancake filters. I was planning on a 83mm P&C's to increase the engine to 1385cc. Ive no idea if this would give the power needed. So as an open discussion, could you build a vintage hill climb beetle, and if so what would you choose ?
