Hi,


i know its been asked 000's of times before but what is the recommended pressure for a 59 Beetle on crossplys?

They seem quite sensitive to pressure changes, but if you start with about 14psi on the front and 24psi on the back, you should be about right.

I personally have run radials on my cars much harder - around 30psi in both the front and the back....

30 on the front? Must have been an atrocious hard ride. It's not like there's a lot of weight in one of these cars.


I'd say more or less the same pressures for radial tyres.

thanks for the replies. The samba also have a lot of the original instruction manuals where this info is detailed
