Every year at the 1st of May, Hannover is the place for all aircooled Volkswagen. The VW Beetle Club of Hannover will celebrate german's biggest and most popular Event for aircooled Volkswagen, called the "Maikäfertreffen". During the last years, it became more & more popular to celebrate little VW-events arount this meeting like the famous DFL-Cruisenight or the BBQ-party at the Grundmann Collection of Hessisch Oldendorf. In this year, the 1st of May is placed very good in the calendar on a tuesday, so that we can invite all VW-ethusiasts for germans little answer of the famous VW Classic Week in California. The event will start with the "Banana Bumper-Pary" in a nice Club in Wolfsburg. On Sunday, we will held europeans first "Toy & Merobila-Show" at the biggest Volkswagen Dealer of Wolfsburg. We will call this Show "Rheumaklappe 2007". Also on saturday, we will held the "Heinrich-Nordhoff-Rallye" through the city and countryside of Wolfsburg. At the evening, all participants have the chance to see the "Herbie"-Film in the biggest Cinema of Wolfsburg.

On Monday, there is a possibility for a factory-tour at Volkswagen. In the evening, there is the "May Cruise Madness" organisated by "Der fieser Luftkühlers" - Club in Hannover. For all of us vintage guys, Christian Grundmann & friends invite you for the BBQ-Party in Hessisch Oldendorf.

The final of the show will be on Tuesday, the 1st of May. Germans biggest meeting & swamp marked will be held at the EXPO-ground in Hannover. Inclusive a Show & Shine-Concours and a exibition of europans freshest aircooled Volkswagen of the season 2007. Maybe now, you think about a visit of this show in this year. You are welcome!

today, I can give you some more informations about the welcome home-weekend here in Wolfsburg. The StiftungAutomuseum of Volkswagen will be the finnisho for the Roadtrip. In fact, that most of the people will be in Wolfsburg at the evening, the museum will be open until 10:00 p.m. for all visitors. At the parking ground, we will meet us for a cruisenight, catering and fresh beer will be served.

For this event, we don't want to get rich.We decided to donate the funds to a charitativen purpose named as "Wolfsburg hilft". The association worries about leukaemia illnes humans, collects funds for the classification of main cells of potential donors.

During the next weeks, we will inform our local press and order to the inhabitants of Wolfsburg to donate the old Volkswagen memorial, they have forgot in their cellar or attic. or the Gruindmann museum or can we just turn up and take part
Also is there any age limit to the vehicles which may take part?
