Today we held our 20th monthly VW meeting in Cascais

Back in April 2007 we started just with 4 cars, now every month is growing, and today there were about 28 Vw's 😎 some day we will have to change to a new location :lol:

Hi JD,

yes about 6000km (edit 10000km+-) there and back :shock: :shock:,

my friend Joaquim already had to came back with the '51, he broke a connecting rod and had to change the engine with a '54 Oval from another friend of ours...

Great pictures. And what a lovely place to have a meeting! Our local meeting is on an industrial estate.

Hi there, is that the Hotel Baia?

I have stayed there on golfing holidays back in the day.

Cascais is certainly a beautiful little town for a meet.

I`d love to throw the golf clubs in the back of the Oval, drive down for a meet and then have a round at Penha Longa......................................... hang on, better get the car on the road first :roll:
