This car is owned by Jon Devereaux he lives a few miles from me. Jon is just about to start restoring a 1952 cabrio 356. He also owns a pre A speedster. Lucky man!

Its a C.......built in 1963 from California. It was at the last Hessich and also at the 2007 Camberg meets. Used mainly for travels to european shows...ie Porsche 356 meet in Padova Italy and the Le Mans Classic. A very nice car for that type of tour but not a sports car really. I have known Jon for many years, since the days of Small Car Specialties of Bournemouth. He did many restorations of VWs in the eighties and was a regular in VWorld. He is now in semi retirement and concentrates on early Porsches. Pre A if possible.

Which model would you like? I may hear of one for sale.

As for which would win the race......hmmm...............I dunno.
The Ghia would have to come out of its garage for us to find out!!!...Fat chanceWink
I suspect that both our racing days are behind us though.

How right you are. I think the 356 performance is on par with my 1.4 Polo.
