I'm planning on turning my coupe into a roadster, with a removable hardtop, and canvas cavity snap top. Before I start cutting, I was wondering where should I be reinforcing this bad boy? I know I should run some extra reinforcement down the rockers, to keep it from essentially folding in on itself in the door gap, and should probably also bring it up the windshield pillar as well. Where else? Has anyone done this before that can offer hints/pictures/advice?

That's right along the lines I'm looking for. It seems so many people have gone the easy route of welding the doors, instead of trying to keep the doors functional. I would like to keep the doors functional, and don't mind sacrificing the back seat for that.
