The best thing on that one is....it is buried in the garden. So it is still around.:omg:
The sad thing: looked at the picts and see the location of the vin is cut out, as the whole tunnel is gone, the front is also cut to give place for the radiator so no nrs known if it is digged out. :thumbdn:
If it was my garden, I whould dig it up.

And yes, it is a real heb above nr 400 as Ruud wrote: 5 holes in the side reinforcements.

Excellent to see some new photos of this car. Can't believe the engineering - chopping the tunnel out! It must have been a bit bendy!

I'd be getting the shovels out if it was my garden too. People have resurrected worse.

Seems like another job(s) for the Pre '67 Heb Detectives!

1) Where did these recent photos come from? Any possibility to identify the "artists" who crafted this beauty (or is it a beast)? Shots look like Sweden in 1960 / '61? Perhaps relatives are still around with a story or two?

2) Peter, whose garden is it in now? Got any shots of this curious sight? I'd really like to see what kind of miracle tree grows from rusted PRECIOUS HEB METAL

3) Indeed "Garden Hebs" HAVE been restored before, THIS famous one comes to mind again & again ...........

V ery W arm regards from Hong Kong

Hi!

This is an well known Hebmuller in Sweden.
The owner buy it from an junkyard in the late 60.
It was built for dragracing and was in use first time -69
And was sponsered by an big coffe brand in Sweden name Löfbergs Lila.

But allready in 1968 it was on an Hot Rod show in Sweden.
And it was in an car magazine name Start & Speed year 1969.

Some year later in was diged down by the owner under his new garage.
Many have try to find this car and dig it upp.
But none want to tell exacly were it was and the owner died for 6-7 year ago.
The story tells that some parts was saved but thrown when the owner died.
