Very nice car to own.... if you happen to have $150,000 burning a large hole in your back pocket. I can't believe the prices early Beetles are fetching these days. So much for "the people's car" 😞

Things really have got out of hand. 1940s Beetles are becoming a millionaire's trophy. And some thought I was mad paying £7k for my 1947 split back in 1999. Doubt I'd be able to get one today.:(
