Across walks well known German trader Hans Shukenbomber(spell check).
Says,Hey Bob how was the convoy,OK.You know we had a much bigger and faster convoy than yours.
(BBT Bob) "Yes,when was that.
(Hans)Well it was going in the opposite direction but it was 1939.

Mr Schuckenbohmer & his wife are very nice people and very helpful. He really needs a website though considering the huge amount of parts he keeps, his stand at War and Peace is huge! And its only Schwimmer & Kubel parts there! He only brings a much smaller amount of early beetle crossover parts to Peppercorn 😃

The rooms were fine. the bar and resturant are just a motorway service station. Friendly staff, the chef said the he spoke "a little English" then proceeded to tell me what each dish was in fluent English!

It's a very short drive down the hill in to the town.

I would stay there again but found somewhere in the town this time.

Hi,

Just come across the postings from people claiming to have been ignored by me at Hessich et al. Don't know who you are since you hide behind aliases, but I don't knowingly ignore any VW enthusiasts I know (with the exception of 3, who know who they are but are most unlikely to be reading this!)

However, communication is a 2 way thing, and I must assume that those concerned didn't say hello to me either. A lot of people at Hessich - maybe I just didn't see you...

Clearly, I must try harder at Bad Camberg!

Charles

PS Try offering me a beer! 😃

truth is, their english is just fine.

there will be plenty of folks staying in the area that should be able to translate if need be.

see everyone at the show!
