A little known fact about these unique cars is that they were built for racing purposes only! They are not touring cars such as Dannenhauer & Stauss, Romestch etc, etc... Therefore, they are not suitable for long distance driving. This is STRICTLY a race car.

Out of 67 total production cars Enzmann built, 2 cars were built with this sliding / retractable roof. Unfortunately, one of the cars was "written off" early in its life in an accident on its way to the Berlin Motor Show in 1960! This car, #28 is the SOLE surviver with only 5500km's when purchased! Still had the original Michelin "X" ply tires! EVERYTHING found on this car was the same as it left the coachbuilders garage some 50+ years ago.

Cheers!
