Andy W Well, you'll be intrigued to know that my RT was one of the four used in the making of Cliff Richard's Summer Holiday film (they all sported the same registration plates though as they were supposed to be the same London bus). Needless to say I often get called Cliff Richard by people when they see me around in the big ol' bus This bus has been used in a few TV sitcoms, The Good Life for example. Duplicate vehicles are often used in such films. I know that a few Beetles were used in each Herbie film, six on average I think unless someone here knows otherwise. I wonder how many Beetles will be used in the Rattletrap Story when it eventually gets made Edited by user 18 April 2017 19:12:21(UTC)

Andy W Excellent find Andy, glad he never had his old friend crushed. However that's what gave rise to this cartoon Edited by user 13 June 2017 10:09:46(UTC)

Not easy for the old cars in such heat, even more difficult for them under the glare of the mighty Rattletrap shining like a beacon over them Edited by user 26 June 2017 19:20:56(UTC)

I think Andy is a little shy about giving too much info on his Beast.Meanwhile, here's a picture of my brute with his new logo type. Why ever did Volkswagen GB not pick up on this spelling twist for their New Beetle. All those cleaver ad people in the '70s missed it too, unless someone knows different If you want to take this up for the next New Beetle, Volkswagen GB, a nice cheque to the Rattletrap Museum first please Edited by user 15 July 2017 15:52:24(UTC)
