1950 VW Hebmüller for sale.
Details and history:
Following a front end crash in the 60’s this car lost its body number and original chassis with cable brakes. It was repaired using a 1961 donor car and registered as a 61. The car was later upgraded again for frequent use with a 70’s chassis and engine, and the electrics converted to 12v, and used regularly as a daily driver.
With the help of various experts, we confidently date this Hebmüller body as a 1950 model. I have owned the car for 25 years and it has undergone several improvements over time. The rear folding seat is still missing but I have all the necessary hinges to easily make a good replacement. There are other parts to be included with the sale of the car although the car can be used and enjoyed as it is.
