c. 1950 Berlin, Germany

Also known as a 'Banana' Rometsch, this car was designed by Johannes Beeskow and built by the Berlin based coach building company. Based on a VW chassis, the body consisted of an aluminum skin over a wooden frame. The cars were considered very luxurious at the time and were driven by film stars such as Gregory Peck, Audry Hepburn and German actor Viktor de Kowa.
