HI ET,
That is nice for you, but I have spotted a paint teardrop in the picts on guido's site.

Did you noticed it too?
So you lucky man , You went to Swiss and meanwhile the car was painted.
The car will rock like that song from the stones. You can start with the build up of the parts.
The pan is readdy I guess, So in a month or two the car can be driven like a HI-BOY , without wings and doors and with two orange boxes to sit in.

Did you have to tow Guido's road train in the montains ??

Keep us updated. Thanks, ¨Peter

It was on the wall of the spray boot:

The Hebmuller in the picture above has just been imported to England from South Africa.

The owner told me that it was in a bad crash at sometime in it's history and rebuilt using the front from a 51 beetle (that's why it has crotch coolers and no semaphores).

It's also right hand drive and on a '56 hydraulic brake pan with an Okrassa 30hp engine.

There's a picture of it in South Africa in the Coachbuilt Gallery on The Samba.com

Because of the rebuild the body number has been lost as well.

I would not lower a hebmuller either!!

Much better to keep original.

but there is not much original remaining on this Hebmuller!

It has a narrow beam and 356 brakes as well!

Hello, 6 o 1

Is that your brown Heb or did you bought the one with bodynr 601.

Your nick name is a bit of a confuse to me .

The brown one is nice, even with the deluxe front part.
Nice color combination . Stand out from the other Two tone paint jobs.

Can you mail me some nice picts from that HEB with engine picts as a bonus. I have found last year a NOS Okrasakit for 30 Hp . complete and boxed . The main box was damaged and is now lost for ever.

Greetings; Peter

Hello Peter,
The brown one is not mine. It has appeared at VW meetings at the ACE Cafe in London twice but I have not seen the engine.

The owner was talking for a long time with Ivan from VolksWorld so it might be featured in the magazine some time.

There are more pictures posted on the general chat forum at
https://www.volkszone.com

search for heb or hebmuller and you will find them.
