Hi

I am thinking of buying a 54 Oval project but I am not familiar with VW's of this vintage. The car is a LHD Swedish car and is pretty original and running and driving. The only problems visible are rust in the spare wheel well and rust at back of the rear wheel arches, not too bad though. The trim is pretty good too. The engine is the right type, The heart shaped lights are there, the semaphores work and the w decklid is good. The wings are also original.

Please could someone give me some pointers as to what else to look out for and what your experiences have been with a 54?
