The car is fully restored by a local company and has a recon Remtec 1600 engine with standard Solex Carb.

When hot and sitting for a while it seems as if all the fuel evapourates out of the carb.

It will start when hot if one swithces off and then restarts within a few mins but longer than that it battles - this is reminiscent of the Solex on my Landy that percolates when hot.

Is there a remedy for this - a better insulating adaptor etc etc?
The engine only has 450 miles on the clock - will this get better as the engine runs in and perhaps runs cooler?
