Will a 1973 Beetle towbar fit a 1954? · International Vintage Volkswagen Forums

I need a towbar for my 1954 Beetle and there's one for sale for sale from a 1973 car, will it fit?

Hi Andrew, i have a 54 bug and tow a eriba puck caravan with a tow bar that looks exactly like your picture. it attatches at the torsion bar end via two large U bolt fixings. hope ive helped!
