Thanks to you all for coming to our VW 100.000 km show! You've been sensational guests. You and your cars made the show - the public of Hückeswagen was amazed and the newspapers gave best marks for this event.

What a shame, that a few guys can't differentiate between our possession and their possession. Some equipment from the show has been stolen and we like to have back:

1. Banner ad VW 100.000 km show
2. Gateway shield VW 100.000 km show

If anybody knows who has stolen this equipment please let me know.

The gateway shield is from our show 2002 and was hanging in my garage for 6 years! The banner was very expensive.

We have worked hard for over 1 year to realize this show - this is not a fair way to say "thank you".

To all of you - please help to find out the thiefs!! This is the only way to prevent burglary at coming events.

If the thiefs email me and send me back our equipment I will not do any further steps. If another person sends me a reliable tip, which leads to the thiefs, I will post the name of the thiefs in this forum.

Yes, I would like to bring the Hebmuller to your shop but it all depends of a few factors:

-will Guido still be my friend? :lol:

-is the frame of the top powder coated in time?:?

-hoping on a dry day as soon as possible to transport the heb to the spray booth. It did not go today because of the stupid rain overhere! :?

I’ve visited the show on Saturday as a visitor. Great cars and nice international atmosphere. I saw many interesting cars, of which some I remembered from the previous 100.000km treffen in 2002 😛

Congratulations to Dirk and his team for making this event one of the VW highlights of 2008. Keep up the good work :!:

I hope to see some of these cars at the next "Vintage VW Show" in Lier, Belgium on 31st of August of this year. Take a look at “Vintage Shows” section on this forum for more info about Lier 2008. If anyone needs additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me....

It was a great weekend, well done Dirk and all of the team. Both this and the last event in 2002 will hold special memories for me. It was great to visit a proper vintage show.

It's a shame someone has had to spoil to over all superb vibe. We'll keep our ears & eyes peeled for the stolen items, I hope you get them back.
