And why do so many nice stock early cars get advertised on Volkszone?
It really is the place to keep an eye on.

I would love to buy a car like this but it would mean selling my '68 which I've owned for 21 years (2nd owner and 8500 miles in that time!)
:d 😎

Because it's wider known and therefore more chance of you selling your car.

I like this but why, oh why the white wing beading! And I've also got a question over it being RHD, shouldn't it be LHD?

Very nice car, but the fact that it's Swedish spec RHD (cloth seats, Swedish lenses etc) and not British spec RHD puts me off a little bit. I love UK cars with history.

In Sweden, they used to drive on the left, just like in the UK, until 1967!! However, cars were all LHD unless you requested a 'special order' RHD Beetle- this happened VERY rarely in Sweden.

Yes! You cant beat a good UK car in my eyes. Lovely to know that they have been on these shores all their lives!

I never think of a car quite the same when it is imported, even if it is from SA or Australia!

I suppose I didnt word that very well but what I mean is that I would far sooner own a good UK car than a good import!

However a perfect import over a rotten and f****d with car would probably sway me!

I have never seen a rhd swede bug before! only buses, but his carpet is worn in the right places ( I am off to pester O about them now  ) Great condition interior. Had a wing years back.

I would far sooner own a good import car than a ruuuuuussssssty old uk car everyday! so we are even

Are you really taking your car but 'not' booking it into the Historic lineup at Stanford? 😳 Its the one place where classic aged non perfection is a good thing!
