Once again this good old-fashioned VW show proved very enjoyable. It was great to meet up with the Scottish guys for this display and thanks for bringing along your cars. Of the seven beetles in the line up five are making the journey to Hessich Oldendorf, via BBT, next month. For anyone that's going, try to get a look at David Beattie's drawings and watercolours of early VWs. He's a very talented artist and extremely knowledgeable about the early cars.

David's 57 sunroof looks beautiful.
Haven't managed to get up there since the Doune days,must try harder next year, always used to be a nice relaxed atmosphere.
